NaphCare, a leader in correctional healthcare, hosts more than 200 leaders from across the country to participate in CONNECT 2026 to advance operational excellence and develop solutions that address the complex demands of leading correctional healthcare operations.
The four-day conference began September 28 in Birmingham, Alabama, and runs through October 1, giving attendees the opportunity to hear keynote speaker Tony Hoffman share his personal story, “From Prison to the Olympics.” Hoffman’s personal journey from incarceration and substance use to recovery, advocacy, and coaching at the Olympic Games reinforces the conference’s themes of resilience, purpose, and the potential for meaningful change. Conference sessions will explore topics such as leadership development, medical care standards, correctional partnerships, workforce performance, and more.
“Strong leadership is essential to the work we do and the people we serve,” said Brad McLane, CEO of NaphCare. “CONNECT gives our leaders an opportunity to learn from one another, strengthen our shared vision, and return to their teams prepared to lead with purpose. When our leaders are aligned and empowered, our entire organization is better positioned to deliver on our mission to improve and save lives.”
CONNECT 2026 reflects NaphCare’s continued investment in the leaders who support its employees, patients, and correctional partners. As a Birmingham Best Places to Work employer for the last five years, NaphCare believes in equipping leaders with practical knowledge, resources, and stronger internal connections. NaphCare aims to encourage innovation and support the delivery of high-quality correctional healthcare.
