Lookout Integrates to Device Trust from Android Enterprise and Joins the Android Enterprise Partner Program

Lookout, Inc., the pioneer and leader in AI security for the mobile workforce, today announced the integration of Android Device Trust APIs into the Lookout Mobile AI Security Platform. By ingesting authoritative, hardware- and OS-level device signals directly from Google, Lookout strengthens its continuous exposure management capabilities and joins the Android Enterprise’s Device Trust partner program.

As frontier AI models accelerate the discovery and chaining of software vulnerabilities in mobile applications and operating systems, organizations require authoritative, device-specific telemetry to verify posture before granting access to sensitive enterprise assets. The integration of Device Trust from Android Enterprise provides Lookout with direct, device-level patch state telemetry, along with other signals, from Google across Android fleets.

This authoritative data stream directly feeds the Lookout Mobile Software Exposure Center (MSEC) engines. By correlating real-time OS patch levels, make-and-model firmware variances, and compiled app binary composition (SBOMs) against Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEVs), Lookout provides security operations teams with unprecedented precision in identifying and remediating mobile software exposure.

“Modern security strategy dictates that identity is the perimeter, but device posture is the gatekeeper,” said Praveen Mamnani, Chief Product Officer at Lookout. “Our integration with Device Trust from Android Enterprise reinforces our commitment to providing authoritative, hardware-verified intelligence across the mobile surface. By embedding Google’s device trust signals natively into our platform, we give joint customers absolute confidence in their organizational security policies and Zero Trust access decisions.”

“By integrating with leading security partners like Lookout, Device Trust from Android Enterprise brings critical device posture signals directly into the tools security teams rely on,” said Sean Ginevan, Head of Global Technology Partnerships for Android Enterprise at Google. “This integration gives joint customers real-time visibility into security patch levels and device integrity to make smarter Zero Trust access decisions across their entire mobile fleet.”

Accelerating context-aware access across Google ecosystems

Beyond vulnerability discovery, the ingestion of Android Enterprise’s device trust signals enhances Lookout’s existing integrations with Google Cloud BeyondCorp Enterprise, Google SecOps, and Cloud Identity. By sharing continuous, high-fidelity health verdicts natively with Google’s rules engine, Lookout empowers CISOs to enforce granular, Context-Aware Access policies:

  • Automated risk-based enforcement: Cloud Identity and BeyondCorp instantly evaluate Lookout device integrity verdicts to grant, restrict, or step-up authentication for corporate resources like Google Workspace, Salesforce, and Workday.

  • BYOD and unmanaged asset governance: Ensures strict cryptographic asset protection and patch compliance across employee-owned devices without requiring Mobile Device Management (MDM) agents.

  • Unified SOC intelligence: Enriches incident responder playbooks in Google SecOps with real-time mobile event telemetry, reducing triage times and aligning threats to the MITRE ATT&CK framework.

Strategic alignment with Google’s mobile security ecosystem

Lookout’s listing in the Android Enterprise Partner Program expands a long-standing technical and intelligence partnership. As a founding member of the App Defense Alliance (ADA) and a collaborative partner of the Google Threat Intelligence Group (GTIG), Lookout continuously exchanges threat feeds and AI-born mobile malware insights to protect millions of users across the Google Play ecosystem and global enterprise fleets.

The updated ingestion of Device Trust signals, including Android patch level, are available immediately for all Lookout Mobile AI Security Platform customers running Android 10 and above.
