Combination expands Solifi’s automotive capabilities across digital application, origination and servicing while strengthening its position as the unified platform for secured finance
MINNEAPOLIS and VANCOUVER, BC, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Solifi, a global leader in delivering the unified platform for secured finance, today announced that it has acquired Inovatec Systems Corporation, a cloud-based lending technology provider serving banks, captive finance organizations, credit unions, and specialty lenders across North America. The combination will extend Solifi’s retail automotive, powersports, and specialty-finance capabilities across the lending lifecycle.
The acquisition advances Solifi’s strategy to provide lenders with a more connected operating environment across complex asset portfolios. Inovatec brings a modern, configurable platform spanning its Propel digital portal, loan origination system and loan management system. Their experience in automotive, powersports, equipment, and other specialty lending markets combines with Solifi’s five decades of secured-finance expertise, global enterprise delivery and broad spectrum of leasing, lending, and servicing solutions.
“Automotive finance is one of the clearest examples of why connected technology matters,” said Dan Corazzi, CEO of Solifi. “Retail origination and servicing, wholesale finance, dealer operations, asset data and risk oversight are deeply interdependent, yet they are often managed through separate systems. Inovatec strengthens our ability to connect those workflows and gives Solifi an even stronger foundation to support captives, banks, credit unions and specialty lenders as their operating models evolve.”
For automotive, powersports, and specialty finance organizations, the combined capabilities create a broader operating foundation across both retail and wholesale finance. Inovatec adds digital application, credit adjudication, funding, servicing, payments and collections capabilities. Solifi already provides wholesale and floorplan finance, dealer inventory oversight, asset and vehicle intelligence, risk monitoring and enterprise portfolio management. Together, Solifi can support a wider range of automotive finance operating models while allowing customers to adopt capabilities according to their business needs and technology strategy.
The combination also strengthens Solifi’s ability to serve customers across new geographies and business segments. Inovatec has established a strong position with Canadian lenders, credit unions, and specialty finance companies. Solifi contributes enterprise scale, global implementation experience and secured-finance depth across equipment finance, private credit, automotive, wholesale finance, and working capital.
Customer continuity and investment
Solifi and Inovatec will remain focused on their existing customer commitments and product roadmaps. Customers will continue to receive support for the products they use today as Solifi invests in the growth and expansion of the acquired product portfolio. Over time, the combined organization expects to create additional opportunities for customers to connect lending workflows and data and risk capabilities across the secured-finance lifecycle.
“We founded Inovatec in 2006 with a simple idea: lenders should be able to adapt their technology as quickly as their business evolves. That vision helped us grow from two founders into a team of more than 160 people serving lenders across North America,” said Vladimir and Danijela Kovacevic, Co-Founders of Inovatec. “Today, our clients are looking for more products, more channels, and greater automation – and meeting those needs requires scale. Solifi brings that scale, deep expertise in secured finance, and a shared perspective on the future of the industry. By bringing together our origination and servicing platforms with Solifi’s broader secured-finance solutions, we can innovate faster with more connected insights for our customers. Most importantly, our clients will continue working with the same team and practical approach they trust, now backed by a larger platform. We’re proud of what we’ve built and excited about what we can achieve together.”
Both companies share an emphasis on lending-specific expertise, practical automation, and technology for customers in regulated financial environments. Inovatec’s cloud-based architecture and configurable workflows complement Solifi’s broader platform strategy and continued investment in secure modernization, connected data and workflow automation.
