The initiative highlights the manufacturer’s growing investment in the well-being of its workforce
WACONIA, Minn., Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Cabinetworks Group, the country’s largest privately owned cabinet manufacturer, recently expanded employee access to health care with the opening of a free on-site health clinic for team members at its Waconia, Minnesota manufacturing plant and office.

This clinic marks the third free on-site health clinic that Cabinetworks Group has opened in two years, highlighting the manufacturer’s growing investment in the well-being of its workforce.
“Access to health care shouldn’t be complicated, expensive or time-consuming,” said Jeff Jackson, CEO of Cabinetworks Group. “Offering these services to team members at zero cost, right where we work, is a proactive step that benefits not just individual families, but the community as a whole. Healthy employees are more productive, more engaged and more likely to build long-term careers right here in our region. With the addition of this new clinic, we’re pleased to reduce the financial burden of care for our team members while simultaneously supporting a healthier, more resilient workforce in our community.”
Now open, the 1,500-square-foot health clinic is similar to the company’s other locations in Middlefield, Ohio and Independence, Oregon, offering team members, spouses and dependents access to on-site care — all at no cost. The clinic features three exam rooms and a laboratory.
The clinic is staffed by board certified medical professionals from Medcor, offering services such as light primary care and wellness exams, assessment and treatment of minor injuries and illnesses, chronic condition monitoring (blood pressure, diabetes and cholesterol), vaccinations (flu, Tdap, Hepatitis A), rapid strep, flu and COVID antigen testing, and blood draws, among other services.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Wednesday, September 30 to commemorate the occasion. During the event, attendees heard from Cabinetworks Group’s chief people officer Debbie LaPinska, City of Waconia Mayor Tim Litfin, as well as other individuals from executive leadership. Light bites and refreshments were provided, and individuals were invited to tour the clinic afterwards. Attendees included Cabinetworks Group team members, community leaders, and leaders and clinicians from Medcor.
In addition to a health clinic, Cabinetworks Group offers a number of other benefits for its team members, including bonus programs for all team members, 401(k) match, financial assistance for child/elder care, an employee assistance program, enhanced maternity leave and adoption assistance, scholarship programs for children of team members, enhanced tuition reimbursement for team members, a full corporate benefits program and more.
